Carbonade, a spinoff company of Yeda, reduces CO2 to CO using an energy-efficient electrochemical process. Yehuda Borenstein Jacob F.
White hydrogen and carbon capture and utilization – the future of low-cost made-of-air products. White hydrogen, found in the Earth's crust like fossil fuel, is a potential game-changer in decarbonization. Once we can economically produce white hydrogen, we can use it to create a wide range of products currently derived from fossil fuels, such as plastics, fertilizers, chemicals, synthetic fibers, waxes, jet fuel, and many others—approximately 6,000 products. Green syngas is a critical ingredient in those products. Therefore, in addition to the white hydrogen, we must capture CO2 and convert it to CO to generate synthetic syngas. That’s precisely what we can do at RepAir Carbon Capture and Carbonade. Repair captures CO2 in a very low-energy-intensity system, and Carbonade reduces the CO2 to CO using an energy-efficient electrochemical process. The essential combination of low-cost white hydrogen, low-energy intensity direct air capture, and low-energy CO2 conversion is pivotal in our quest for a decarbonized world and replacing fossil-based products with zero-carbon products. From Edible Bugs to Urban Forests, Israeli Climate Tech Is Saving the Environment Read about FreezeM, another spinoff from Yeda In the article: "We think that, right now, the major impact will be on animal feed because animals don’t mind eating insects. So you don’t have this same market barrier, and you can impact the food industry very fast by feeding animals with the most sustainable protein source." Yuval Gilad https://lnkd.in/djcHkm7s

#Bold Winning with Strength 💪 We had the pleasure of being hosted at the Meta offices Tel Aviv for an enlightening workshop by Dr. Michal Paz Shimony, Organizational Psychologist. Michal taught us how to identify our dominant #strengths and cultivate them to achieve both personal and #organizational #success. We explored the importance of focusing on what's working and how to do more of that, rather than fixating on what's broken. This approach is crucial not just in our careers but also in our personal lives. We also learned how #positive thinking boosts our happiness and job satisfaction and even improves company #performance. It was a fantastic experience, filled with lessons and wonderful moments! Thank you once again to Meta and Namma for hosting us and to Michal for enriching our knowledge. The hospitality was exceptional, and the breathtaking view added to the experience.
