#Bold Winning with Strength 💪 We had the pleasure of being hosted at the Meta offices Tel Aviv for an enlightening workshop by Dr. Michal Paz Shimony, Organizational Psychologist. Michal taught us how to identify our dominant #strengths and cultivate them to achieve both personal and #organizational #success. We explored the importance of focusing on what's working and how to do more of that, rather than fixating on what's broken. This approach is crucial not just in our careers but also in our personal lives. We also learned how #positive thinking boosts our happiness and job satisfaction and even improves company #performance. It was a fantastic experience, filled with lessons and wonderful moments! Thank you once again to Meta and Namma for hosting us and to Michal for enriching our knowledge. The hospitality was exceptional, and the breathtaking view added to the experience. #Bold This week, we held the second session of the #BOLD series. The session addressed the #uncertainties and #decisions at the #start point of a career. Dafna Shelly, an organizational expert, delivered an inspiring lecture, providing #tools for #career #development that begins with identifying personal likes, values, and priorities. She emphasized that a career is not a straightforward ladder but a climbing maze where various opportunities arise, and the key is to choose wisely and take risks. In the second part of the session, we hosted a panel with Maytal Bivas-Benita and Smadar Szekely (Gal-Ezer), two inspiring women with rich and diverse careers. They shared their unique career journeys, showing that careers are rarely straightforward. Their stories, filled with opportunities and courageous decisions, illustrated how each of them carved out a path that suited their unique personalities. Thank you, Dafna, Maytal, and Samdar, for sharing your wisdom and experiences. We are excited to share that the StoPFAS research project, led by Prof. Brian Berkowitz, Dr. Ishai Dror, Dr. Omri Seemann, and Phillip Vershinin at the Weizmann Institute of Science, has been selected as 1 out of 4 winners of a challenge initiated by MEKOROT® Innovation Unit (MEKOROT® Innovation - WaTech®). MEKOROT® Innovation - WaTech®, a leader in tackling #water challenges through WaTech, established this challenge to find groundbreaking solutions for addressing #PFAS —a group of persistent #environmental #pollutants posing significant #health risks. PFAS removal from water sources remains a major hurdle. The StoPFAS project, nurtured and supported by the Bina - Bridge Innovate Nurture Advance program, has developed a cutting-edge water #purification technology with the potential to revolutionize water safety. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and the dedication of the research team at WIS and great collaboration with Vered Pardo-Yissar, BD Director at YEDA - Technology Transfer Company of Weizmann Institute of Science. This project exemplifies the power of collaborative efforts and innovative thinking to tackle pressing environmental challenges. Special thanks to MEKOROT® Innovation - WaTech®, Kinneret Innovation Center, Shani Biran, Shiri Golany, Yoni Amar, David Balsar, Israel Innovation Authority רשות החדשנות, Ravid Levy, WaterEdge.IL, Yossi Yaacoby Additionally, we extend our gratitude to Meitar | Law Offices for hosting the boot camp and the final event of the challenge. #WaTech #PFAS #WaterSustainability #WaterInnovation #Mekorot #Bina #WIS #Yeda Sharon Fireman, Reut Mashiach
