It is continuously updated and extended.

Now the dust has settled, we are reflecting on the success of our biennial conference DPASSH (Digital Preservation for the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences) which was held on 27-28th June in Limerick City, Ireland. DPASSH conferences address questions relating to digital preservation within the arts and social sciences subject domain. To achieve this, we worked with the University of Limerick and The Hunt Museum to deliver a cross-institutional event with over 80 attendees from Ireland, the UK, Europe and North America in attendance. Our esteemed keynote speaker Dr. Coen Wilders of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam delivered a fantastic talk on Enabling Access to Cultural Heritage Data by Advancing FAIR Principles at the Rijksmuseum. Taken together with the diverse array of papers presented, hands-on workshops and collaborative networking opportunities - DPASSH was most certainly an event to remember. We are grateful to all organisers, speakers, attendees and support staff for their time and effort bringing this event to fruition. Thanks also to our sponsors CODATA, WorldFAIR Project, National Open Research Forum and Specialist AV without whom the event would not have been possible. See you all again in 2026 for the next installment of DPASSH!

Please submit your feedback on global principles for open science monitoring. Ireland is at the forefront of open access monitoring thanks to the NORF plan and the work that IReL has been leading with OpenAire. The most important lesson that we have learned: stakeholder consultation and engagement is essential when developing a national monitoring platform.
