[HKPC successfully held Industry Network Clusters: Belt and Road New Opportunities - Malaysia] Malaysia has been actively upgrading its industries, aiming to become a diversified emerging industrial country in recent years. This has attracted the interest of many Hong Kong companies, who see the potential in establishing manufacturing facilities in Malaysia to expand their presence in the ASEAN market. Likewise, Malaysian businesses can leverage the advantages of Hong Kong as a platform to explore the vast market opportunities in Mainland China, especially the Greater Bay Area. HKPC’s "Industry Network Clusters: Belt and Road New Opportunities - Malaysia" event served as a platform for fruitful discussions and insights exchange on how to strengthen mutual learning and cooperation for win-win development. The event brought together the representatives from chambers of commerce, and industry professionals from both regions. As a key driver of new productive forces and industrialisation in Hong Kong, HKPC delved into crucial topics, including new industrialisation strategies, upgrading and transformation and sustainable development in both Hong Kong and Malaysia. It enables enterprises to make use of HK$1 million in funding for the implementation of e-commerce projects in the Mainland flexibly within the cumulative funding ceiling of HK$7 million.
