    Support food rescue and reduce food waste – Asahi’s participation in Food Angel by Bo Charity Foundation’s first World Food Rescue Week 2024.   Earlier this year, some Asahi Hong Kong Office colleagues volunteered at Food Angel’s community kitchen to help prepare food ingredients and hot meal boxes for the underprivileged communities in Hong Kong with surplus food collected from the food industry.   We were thankful to have an opportunity to participate in Food Angel’s continuous efforts against food loss and waste again in May/June. We participated in the First World Food Rescue Week 2024 – a week-long event organized by Food Angel that includes educational activities and food donation drives that aim to raise awareness, promote public education, and encourage food donations to make a difference in our community.   As a participating organization, we were invited to send some representatives to the kick-off ceremony to experience how the latest technology and innovation could help drive more food donations. We also supported the initiatives by making direct food donations as a company collectively and encouraged our employees to take action by sharing the impactful initiatives with those around us.   Our purpose of creating meaningful connections is at the heart of everything we do, including connecting with and contributing to our communities.   Support 🌎 "World Food Rescue Week 2024" Donate Surplus Food.     On this Wednesday, our Hong Kong office staff members slotted in a special session to their outlook schedules to #unwind and #recharge with a complimentary massage at the Office.   Two of our meeting rooms, typically used for brainstorming and discussions, were transformed into tranquil massage environments where stress melts away - soft lighting created a soothing atmosphere, and diffusers with calming fragrances were incorporated. Licensed massage therapists were present to provide our staff with massages focusing on the upper back, neck, shoulders, and arms.   At #Asahi, we believe in meaningful connections both internally and externally. Every individual matters, and we are here to support and enhance our employees' #physical and #mental #wellness. The on-site massage is one initiative under our #EmployeeWellbeing Program to remind our employees of the importance of taking a little time for themselves and to express our gratitude for their hard work.   And we have to thank the Hava Massage for the amazing experiences created for us!     Eco-friendly Activity at Asahi HK Office: Transforming used Coffee Grounds into Soap! On 14th March, also known as the “White” Day, Hong Kong office colleagues came together for a unique and #sustainable experience - transform recycled coffee grounds, a "dark" waste product, into beautiful soap with our style and colors! 🌿♻️ We had the pleasure of having the inspiring #Ecogreenery team host the workshop and share their mission and vision for recycling and the innovative use of recycled coffee grounds to reduce waste and promote #sustainability. Having first-hand experience in #repurposing everyday recycled materials was an eye-opening and memorable experience for all of us!!  At Asahi, we are committed to creating meaningful connections, not only with our stakeholders but also with our planet.     Building a diverse and #inclusiveworkplace requires a collective effort from all team members to #inspireinclusion. As we celebrate International Women's Day (#IWD2024) at Asahi Asia, various markets' DE&I Committee members have prepared special gifts that are kind to the environment and/or purchased from NGOs that promote a better world for our female colleagues. These gifts are intended to remind them how #beautiful and #powerful they are from the inside out and how their hard work and commitment to being a better version of themselves every day can #inspireinclusion. In some markets, we have welcomed guest speakers and female leaders from the #beerindustry to share their stories of becoming role models and achieving fulfillment. Some markets have organized #experientialworkshops to engage our female consumers, customers, and colleagues in celebrating women's resilience and contributions while fostering more #meaningfulconnections among ourselves. Our colleagues are also encouraged to express appreciation and recognize the amazing women in their lives and communities.     New Year, New Experiences!   We are thrilled to unveil an exciting #brand experiential initiative that took place in January at our AEBK Office in #southkorea – the first-ever Asahi European Global Brands Beer MASTER CLASS in South Korea! 📚   We had the pleasure of inviting twenty key customers to join us on a journey of #exploration. They had the opportunity to delve into the essence of our brands through #beer tastings and a series of #FUN activity: from the thrill of self-pouring to the excitement of the Kozel wire game and the creativity of coaster making, our guests immersed themselves in the world of three of our global brands: #Kozel#PilsnerUrquell, and #Peroni.   The evening was filled with engagement and enjoyment as our key customers and guests experienced our brands' #authenticity and fun firsthand.
