On our very first trip to Barcelona, we were lucky to have found this apartment. The location was great - quiet and off the beaten track, and in a real neighborhood, rather than a crazy touristy spot. The host Elias was 100% responsive and extremely nice.
The place is a short walk to the Plaza Espanya (and the subway), where you'll find the amazing tourist services kiosk. We visited the tourism experts every morning and got recommendations and tickets for the day. (We focused 100% on everything Gaudi this trip.)
Also close to the apartment is a big food market, and lots little shops along the streets, especially the ones selling all different kinds of jamon and cured meats, all amazing. There's also a lovely little coffee shop a block away, with freshly baked goods and great coffee.
The apartment itself is bright and sunny, and so comfortable. It's also nicely decorated with the key amenities (including a washing machine). If I had one caveat, it's that there are a lot of stairs, so pack lightly! The reward for climbing the stairs, though, is the perfectly lovely terrace with views of the hills and the Calatrava antenna. We spent every morning and every evening sitting outside and enjoying the city from above.

Tolle, Wohnung in einer tollen Lage... Die Dachterrasse ist perfekt für gemütliche Abende über den Dächern Barcelonas... Zu Fuß sind unglaublich viele sehenswerte Orte zu erreichen in nur wenigen Minuten! Die Wohnung ist schön renoviert und gemütlich eingerichtet, aber was wirklich überzeugt ist der liebevolle Gastgeber Elias, der nicht nur super unkompliziert ist sondern auch wirklich umsorgt um seine Gäste! Die Kommunikation war auch sehr einfach! Die 94 (extra nachgezählt) Treppenstufen sind zwar nicht ganz ohne aber haben für viele Lacher und einen knackigen Po gesorgt!
Alles in allem absolut empfehlenswert und jederzeit gerne wieder!!!

Great location and well equipped.
The apartment is well located, short walk to restaurants, railway, metro a and airport bus.
The loft is great, (might need to mind your head if you are tall) and the settee bed very comfortable. Has a lovely outdoor balcony to enjoy the weather. You need stamina to carry your bags to 4th floor but we liked the view. The apartment is secure, clean and well equipped. The owner was very prompt in responding to my queries.

Fantastic Apartment
Spent a super week staying here.
The apartment is beautiful, clean & modern, which made a great home & base for the week - didn't really want to leave, especially the sunny terrace & the shower!!!
Elias is extremely pleasant & met us on arrival, despite our flight being delayed. He went out of his way to be accommodating & contacted us to make sure everything was ok during our stay. Bless him, he even offered to carry our case up to the apartment for us - I think he was glad I refused his offer once he felt the weight of it!
Great views, great access to the Metro & Sants station, making it easy to get around the beautiful city & beyond.
We were primarily here for the motoGP -(R.I.P #39 Luis Salom) & the location couldn't have been any better for catching the train to the Circuit de Catalunya in Montmelo.
Lots of local bars, cafe's, restaurants, shops & supermarkets literally on the doorstep.
We love visiting Barcelona & would certainly return to the apartment next time we're in town as it really is a good find. Cheers Elias

Fabulous
Stayed in April and had a wonderful time. Elias met us at the apartment and was friendly and informative, advising where to visit and nice places to eat. The apartment had everything you could need and was comfortable and clean. The terrace was perfect for meals and relaxing. Would highly recommend and if/when we go back to Barcelona would stay again. Thank you Elias.

Fantastic location, well-appointed apartment
My wife, 4 year old daughter and I stayed here in mid-August. The flat is very well located, just a couple of minutes walk from the metro therefore putting all of Barcelona within easy reach. We were first-time visitors to the city and were there to explore so the location really suited us down to the ground. The apartment itself is up on the 4th floor (as others have said there is no lift so do be prepared for the climb) and has a roof terrace giving great views across the rooftops to Montjuic and the Palau Nacional. The space is dominated by a large sitting room and dining area off which are a small but well-appointed kitchen and modern bathroom; the double bed is up the stairs on the mezzanine level. Air conditioning is a welcome addition.
The owner, Elias, was there to greet us and enquired after us throughout our stay. He is conscientious and thoughtful and made a very positive contribution to our stay in this good-value apartment.

Incredible & quirky apartment.
Apartment was spotlessly maintained with great furniture and bathroom. It was very well laid out and had everything that we could possibly need. We really appreciated the owner leaving a bottle of wine and also nespresso coffee.
The apartment is in a great location, close to the metro and very easy to get to at any time of the day or night. We had such a wonderful stay here. The balcony is a great size and the kitchen is great if you want to make your own breakfasts etc.
I am so glad that we found this little gem- it was so much better then staying in a hotel. If we go back to Barcelona we would definitely go here and we have recommended it to our friends.
The stairs were a mission- especially if you're carrying anything heavy! If you're not great at tramping up and down stairs then this apartment isn't for you. We are young and pretty fit so it wasn't a problem at all- also we thought it helped us to work off some of the meats, olives and cocktails!
The airport bus drops you really close to the apartment, but also the train is a great option and cheaper.

Great location, lovely apartment!
From booking, to communicating with Elias, to arriving and departing - a painless and very pleasant experience. Elias told us the best way to get from the apartment from the airport; a very easy walk from Playa Espanya where the airport bus stops. Elias met us at the apartment and showed us where everything was before talking us though the best sites and showing us their location on a map. Apartment was lovely, really well equipped with a modern bathroom and great shower. Fresh towels and toiletries! Two supermarkets within five mins walk....so we could enjoy breakfast on the sunny terrace. The apartment was in a great location; very close to Playa Espanya with the Arenas Shopping Centre (great views from the roof), many restaurants and the Magic Fountain. Metro stop very close to the apartment, but we thoroughly enjoyed walking.
Was met at the apartment when we were leaving and Elias messaged us during our stay to check all was OK - cannot fault that!
All in all, a very clean, comfortable, secure and well equipped (e.g. free wifi, hair dryer, iron, kitted out kitchen with washing machine if needed) apartment!! Yes it is up several flights of stairs (we knew that before booking) so perhaps not for the elderly or those with very young children.

Brilliant apartment close to metro station!
Perfect for people who want something different to a hotel and don't want to stay smack bang in the busy centre!
The apartment itself is very clean and nicely decorated! Lovely big balcony to enjoy the sun.
This is apartment is in a great location if you are the kind of person who likes to walk around and explore. It's right near the tube station so you can easily get to things like La Ramla and La Sagrada Familia within 10-15 mins. The tube is super cheap!!
Its also only a 20/25 min walk to the Nou camp
Only thing I would say about the apartment to consider is that there are 5 flights of stairs to climb with no lift so not for the lazy :)
Elias who rented the apartment to us was extremly helpful and gave us advice about the city as soon as we arrived. Very good communication and he even gave us a lift back to the airport!

Nice place with own privacy
The owner picked us from the airport as agreed. He was very accommodating and gave us an orientation about the place. The apartment is very accessible to points of interest. It was near to a market and a walking distance to the Metro with restaurants nearby. A homely place to stay and it was also good for us to exercise when going upstairs. Value for money.
