The location is amazing- it couldn't have been bettered. Judit, Carlos and Arturo were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The apartment was everything you could wish for - beautifully decorated ( in the style of Gaudi), spacious, quiet and family friendly. We have told our friends all about it and we'll definitiely stay again.

Fabulous location
Stayed with three friends. Apartment has everything you need and it’s location is unbeatable. Enjoyed sharing the amazing views of the sagrada familiale on the roof terrace with some American guests. Stayed on the top floor so lots of steps but didn’t mind as we worked off the calories from the amazing food in the cafe/restaurant downstairs. Would recommend the cafe for breakfast and we also had a fabulous paella there one evening.

Amazing View of the Sagrada Familia
Great location, with a great view of the Sagrada Familia. The apartment was clean and spacious. Plenty of room for 5 people. The only downside is that it was up 4 flights of stairs. We knew that in advance and my family is pretty active so that wasn't really a problem. Carlos, the driver, was very helpful with picking us up from the airport and helping us take our luggage up the 4 flights of stairs. Judit, was also very helpful with booking tickets for us to the various attractions.
We really liked the location. There were plenty of places to eat at nearby, including their own little café. Also, as we explored the city it was easy to ask for directions back to the cathedral if we needed them. I plan to return to Barcelona to see the Sagrada Familia when it's done, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great city. Great apartment. Great people.
We had a great few days at Guadi’s Nest. Great location and the people there were fantastic! Our flight was late but taxi man wasn’t annoyed. After one of our group had too many Estella Damms and took a tumble, the lady took great care of him and patched him up.
Can’t recommend highly enough. Shall be back to do the tourist things with the wife.

Great location, well-maintained, views are indeed amazing
We stayed there in early June for two nights. Check-in was easy. We had driven in from Madrid earlier and Alexis helped us get our car to a parking spot in a nearby private parking garage that they arranged for us at a reasonable nightly rate. Alexis showed us to our apartment and explained to us all of the areas of interests and the rules for the apartment. They can also help arrange private tours and dinner shows if that's on your agenda. We had already planned our day and a half, but had we known we certainly would have taken advantage of the service they provided. It's great to have friendly and knowledgeable people available to help you make the most of your trip, and these folks definitely have that going for them.
The apartment we got was very similar to the one in the pictures, but I believe it was a couple of floors lower. It was still a clean and beautiful apartment, and we were frankly too exhausted from our travels to point it out... or want to climb two extra flights of stairs. Part of my motivation for booking the room was to take some photographs of the basilica, and the terrace on the roof provided an even better view than the 3rd floor apartment would have anyway.
The walls are thin and most people do try to be quiet, but occasionally you have some noisy neighbors (embarrassingly fellow American being loud pretty late). I have a white-noise application on my phone that we use to mask loud neighbors and we were able to get a good sleep.
There's also a restaurant conveniently right outside of the front door of the building that is connected to the hotel (same owner). We joined them for breakfast the first morning and found it to be good at a decent price. We had thought about joining them for dinner that evening but we got caught up in our exploration of the city and ended up eating elsewhere.
In any case, if you're in Barcelona to see Sagrada Familia (probably one of the most beautiful architectural creations in the world), you won't find a better place to stay than Gaudi's Nest.

Fantastic apartment, great location
Arrived at 22:30 to accommodation and the hosts were more than helpful. On signing in we were given lots of information on things to do. The apartment was up quite a few stairs (my only gripe of the whole weekend), but when got there were were amazed by the size and cleanliness of the place. Views were amazing and even better when we got to the roof terrace.
Sent three days there (restaurant downstairs does some beautiful traditional food). For those that don't mind a walk, plenty of things to see/do and the metro is just around the corner for everything else.
Would recommend Gaudis Nest to all and will hope to revisit soon.

Right at Home in Gaudi's Nest!
Getting There:
We highly recommend getting the Gaudi’s Nest airport transfer to the apartment even though it costs a little more, because it makes the transfer smooth and eliminates all doubt from the uncertainty for the first timer.
Checking-In:
After checking-in with Carlos, he took our luggage up to the 3rd floor (actually four floors up) without benefit of an elevator. He introduced us to the apartment and its amenities.
The Restaurant:
We were tired and hungry when we arrived and decided to eat at Artur’s restaurant downstairs. We ordered the seafood paella, grilled prawns, grilled squid, and Padron peppers. Everything was made perfect. Special note: my wife has had sangria in four different restaurants in Barcelona. Artur’s is the best - as far as she can remember :)
The Stay:
This may not be a 5-star hotel but it definitely has a 7-star view of Sagrada Familia! The apartment is in a safe neighborhood has all the conveniences of home. It is well maintained with plenty of electrical outlets and the water drains well in the sinks and shower. The walls are a bit thin, but most of the tenants are respectful of each other’s need for quiet in the late night and early morning hours. There are also rules against loud music, running around in the apartment, and up and down the stairs.
We booked this stay for 6 days prior to a Transatlantic Cruise. We cancelled it because of a recent bad experience on a 17-day cruise aboard the Island Princess, so we extended our stay at Gaudi’s Nest. So far, there have been no regrets. We are enjoying exploring Barcelona. There are at least three metro stations (subway) within a short walk from the apartment that provide easy access to most of the city. We are both in our 60’s and never felt anxious walking around. There are also numerous local markets, cafes, and restaurants in the area as well as the familiar McDonalds, Burger King, Subway, and a Five Guys coming soon – all within a few blocks of Gaudi’s Nest.
The staff:
Artur and his Gaudi’s Nest team have been very accommodating and helpful. There were a few (very minor) issues with the apartment, but they were handled promptly.
Recommendation:
We both highly recommend Gaudi’s Nest as a home base for both short and extended stays in Barcelona. We want to thank Francesco, Carlos, Judith, Alexis, all the staff in the restaurant and Artur for all they did to make our stay memorable. We will definitely want to stay here on our next trip to Barcelona if it is available.

Toller Blick und alles bestens
Von der Wohnung hat man einen wirklich fantastischen Blick auf die Kathedrale "Sagrada familia", das Meisterwerk Antoni Gaudis. Von der Dachterrasse aus konnten wir den Sonnenaufgang auf die Kirche beobachten - großartig!
Die Wohnung ist sehr gut und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, die Betten sind sehr gut. Die Fenster schließen dicht, so dass der Straßenlärm nicht eindringen kann.
Einziges Problem für Leute, die Probleme mit dem Laufen haben, sind die vielen Stufen: 96 bis zum 4. Obergeschoss, in dem wir wohnten. Dafür dann kurzer Weg zur Dachterrasse!

DISGUSTADO. Cancelacion que obligo a buscar nueva ubicacion y reprogramar viaje.
Efectué la reserva con anticipación. El establecimiento acepto el pago . Cobro el cargo en la tarjeta de crédito por el 100% de la estadía y luego de varios días me comunican que la reserva estaba cancelada, ocasionandome mayores costos y gastos al tener que buscar otro departamento. Para estos casos deberia Tripadvisor penalizar al propietario del establecimiento con un cargo en concepto de multa.
AMAZING VIEWS IN BCN es un establecimiento poco serio.

Querido Sr Gabriel, como ya le explique en su momento detalladamente tras realizar su reserva, el error de que fuera aceptada su reserva fue debido a un problema tecnico de sincronizacion que tuvo la pagina de Trip Advisor, TOTALMENTE ajeno a la propiedad. Puntualicemos: Quien le cobro fue Trip advisor. Si esto no hubiera sido asi, no le habrian devuelto INTEGRO el importe de la misma como asi ha sido y sin ocasionarle ningun "mayor costo". Entiendo su disgusto, pero lo siento pero no entendemos en absoluto su enfado con la propiedad y nos parece lamentable que nos eche la culpa a nosotros, cuando le reiteramos cual era el problema y despues del trato y asistencia que le ofrecimos intermediando durante varios dias con la agencia. Saludos cordiales.
