upcell Alliance is a non-for-profit association bringing together key European leaders along the battery value chain manufacturing. Its founding members include strong private and public actors: Verkor, Fives, Schneider Electric, Bühler, Ingecal, IN-CORE Systèmes and HESAM University. The board of Directors also includes BlueSolutions, Basquevolt and Elinor Batteries. The association is supported by the government of Catalonia, the French government, as well as French and European public organizations including the CSF Nouveaux Systèmes Energétiques (CSF NSE), French automotive industry association (PFA), Cluster Auvergne Rhônes-Alpes (CARA), EIT InnoEnergy and EVOLIS. The European machine builders and equipment providers cover the 3 main stages of the battery manufacturing process: electrode production, battery cell assembly, module & pack assembly. upcell Alliance aims to federate the European leaders involved in the battery industrial sector and to build a value chain for the development of the European battery industry. Upcell Alliance is pleased to announce that on July 2nd, we participated to the remarkable COREM event, organised by the Hauts-de-France Region where regional stakeholders were invited to discuss and collaborate on the future of e-mobility. 🌍🔌 During this event, the speakers delved into the pressing challenges faced by public authorities and grid operators in the realm of e-mobility development at local level, notably the costs of the recharging infrastructure deployment, the adoption of EVs at large scale and their autonomy. The insightful discussions highlighted, moreover, the advances in: 🔬 Research & Development: Showcasing groundbreaking work and future projects. ⚡ Recharging Infrastructures: Exploring new developments and strategies to enhance the regional charging networks. 👷♂️ Employment and Training: Highlighting initiatives to equip the workforce with the necessary skills for the evolving e-mobility landscape.
