[ Ipsos Foundation ] Empowering girls' education in India! With more than 4.1 million girls out of school, India faces severe gender inequality when it comes to education. Educate Girls, an NGO founded in 2007, works with the government and communities to ensure that every girl, even in remote areas, is enrolled in school and learning well. Its goal is to improve the education of more than 15 million children by 2025. The Ipsos Foundation grant is a game changer for Uttar Pradesh, where girls' literacy hovers around 40%. This support will help enrol 1,452 out-of-school girls and improve the learning of 1,358 girls already in school, benefiting a total of 2,810 girls. Ipsos conducted a survey of 21,000 people in 21 countries for BNP Paribas Cardiff to evaluate the need for personal protection, analyze changes in behavior, and assess people's expectations regarding insurance. The survey found that individuals are more concerned about life's uncertainties than they were in 2019, although less so than in 2021. Their top concerns include financial loss, cybercrime, serious illness, accidents, and chronic illness.Faced with these concerns, the need for better protection is increasing, particularly in the areas of depression (up 5 points), aggression (up 3 points), and death (up 3 points).
