Like the look of your control center. I want to get rid or at least shift the brightness slider as well.
The vertical spacing between X and Mail and weather lines are different and X is kicked over to the right compared to Mail by a few extra pixels. You don’t see any of that?
Visible. But once again, it’s a very first beta version not without a meaning.
And, to point another bug/glitch: the notification badge is grey on X, while it is dark red on YouTube and Meta’s Messenger.
I was responding to the person that couldn’t see the issues I was pointing out. I know it’s a beta and I don’t expect it to be perfect but this was literally the only screenshot that I saw that had weird spacing issues.
Is it possible to leave normal color icons for light mode and make it switch to monochrome (tinted) when the iPhone enters dark mode?
Yes, that looks like some layout issues when a widget is on the same line. It seems to affect the grid spacing just a little bit.
Yes, X has definitely shifted to the right.
what has put me off is the widgets. they don't look good so I've had to use dark icons instead.
Yes I went back to colored icons. I did not like it anymore after one day 😅 it’s a bit depressing. Almost like when you have reverted colours turned on in the accessibility settings
"All over the shop" is a bit hyperbolic... it's more of an issue between rows with widgets vs no widgets. They will get it sorted.
Here is mine. Overall I love the tinted icons look needs some refinement though.
Getting things looking right is still rough, the lowest icon row needs to be able to go lower, icons look out of place.
Here's mine. Replaced the apps which don't (yet) have Dark Mode icons to ones I made using the old-fashioned shortcut method.
Kept the system appearance Light because Dark Mode plays havoc with my eyes (astigmatism sufferer), but I like the increased contrast between the light system and the dark icons.
Oh sweet lord. I´ll never get full sight back...
