Role |

As a Guest Operations Manager, plays a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of the city portfolio. This position requires overseeing the entire local Guest Operations team segmented into Quality assurance and facilities management teams. The primary objective is to ensure a seamless and delightful experience for guests throughout their stay while also handling recruitment, training, scheduling home inspections and maintaining accurate inventory records. Your role will require seeking continuous improvement in process, team collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities |

  • Manage the team, recruiting, training and mentoring new team members and manage team schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for check-ins, check-outs and daily operations.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback and foster professional growth within the team.
  • Plan and execute a smooth check-in and check-out process for guests
  • Ensure accurate reporting of apartment information, manage databases and apartment management systems
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance apartment functionality and reduce downtime
  • Oversee all guest operations team, implemening and maintain high service standards
  • Manage Quality Assurance and Compliance, maintaining high standards across the portfolio
  • Manage budgeting and resource allocation, optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and maintain service excellence within budget constraints
  • Provide Reporting and Analysis on team performance, key metrics, and areas for improvement, such as cost control

About you |

  • You have at least 3+ years of experience working as a Hospitality / Guest Operations Manager or similar role.
  • Skilled organizer and effective communicator
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Flexible, resilient and content with ambiguity and changes
  • Confident with working in cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable performing in a start-up environment
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability for overviewing and improving operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Great planner and keen eye for detail.
