As part of the "DeMoBat - Industrial disassembly of batteries and electric motors" project, the Fraunhofer IPA and KUKA are successfully researching the #disassembly of disused car batteries. 🚙🔋 E-mobility is the future of the #automotive industry. But more e-vehicles lead to more used #batteries. At the same time, production is becoming more expensive. #Recycling is the answer - and our KR QUANTEC plays a key role in this. In order to recycle batteries effectively, they need to be specially processed. This requires qualified specialists, is time-consuming and cost-intensive and involves considerable risks. The KR QUANTEC 6-axis #assembly robot safely and flexibly performs tasks such as loosening screws or disconnecting cables, saving time and money and minimizing risks.
