As the Chair, you will arbitrate disputes over the classification ratings of positions between Yukon government employees and the employer. 💡 Responsibilities: - Hear and decide on classification disputes between the employer and employees, sometimes represented by their union. - Use a point factor rating plan in making decisions. ✅ Requirements: - Deep knowledge of administrative law and principles of natural justice. - Experience in arbitration, preferably in a Canadian northern context. - Copies of 2 to 3 decisions that you have authored. - A statement disclosing any actual or perceived conflicts of interest concerning this position.
