On June 19, Science World hosted another of our Science World Spotlights events, “Interconnected: Exploring Indigenous Perspectives on Earth Matters”, inspired by our Earth Matters Gallery. As we celebrate National Indigenous People's Day today, we honour the contributions and knowledge of Indigenous communities in preserving and protecting our environment. This sold-out event brought together 4 local professionals from a mix of industries, including academia, tourism and government strategy, to share their insights on the intersection of Indigenous knowledge and environmental stewardship!
