I really loved designing this set. I really like the battleworn and weathered look of Boba Fett's helmet, and trying to render as many of these details in LEGO bricks was a true challenge. I also like this more sculptural approach to design, much as I also worked with with the Yoda and Sith Trooper Bust sets.

Ok this set actually ended up meaning a lot for me for various reasons.
1. This was is my first Brickheadz design .... so I'm honoured to be the Designer of the 150th Brickheadz set
2. Brickheadz are super fun to design ... I really enjoyed it .. as the design language is so different to our normal retail sets ... so it was really refreshing to have to look at LEGO Design in a completely new way
3. Lastly but not least this was (for now) my last LEGO Star Wars set .. as I after being lent out to another project for a while to help out, decided it was time to try out some new adventures and leave the Star Wars Universe for a while :)

I cannot put into words how honored and proud I am of this set .... Being given the task of designing the LEGO set of this amazing building and cornerstone in the Kirk Kristiansen legacy ..... makes me so proud.

It's been a challenge .. sometimes a fun one .. sometimes a challenging one, to capture the essence of the LEGO Campus .... but once paired with an amazing team of colleagues to make this set come through, it ended up being an amazing experience.

This one was really a team effort .. so I neither can or want to take all the credit for it :)

Most of the Designers in the JW Team did various sketches of the individual parts of the set, and I then brought it all together and finalized it .

However after I had finalized it and left for my summer holiday, changes to the set was requested ... and so my colleague A. Anderson took over the set and relooped it :)

I was part of the team that brought the amazing and colourful world of Pandora to life in LEGO bricks. It's been a crazy ride, and fun for a SciFi freak as myself to design a SciFi related LEGO set that wasn't Star Wars :)

Initial sketch work for the AMP suit and Thanator was done by I. Chen, and the nature backdrops across all 4 Avatar sets were pretty much a collaborative effort by the team to come up with as many crazy, colourful and truly Pandora-like plants, flowers and trees

Yay .. I did another Brickheadz set ... and I love it :)

I really enjoy designing Brickheadz .. they're super fun and a completely different approach to design aestetics than what I'm used to design in LEGO .. so hopefully more of these will land at my desk in the future ??

I'm proud to have designed the first LEGO Brickheadz wheelchair, and making Jake removable from it was a goal for me from day 1 ??
