No words needed, the set makes fun of itself.
"Let's put a smile on that face!"
This is ugly as sin lol what
Well, it's certainly ... horrifying.
What were they thinking? Why???
'You look nervous. Is it the scars? Wanna know how I got them?'

...Then it's completely accurate to the Joker! Great job LEGO, you've accomplished your goal! However, you may give the general public / kids nightmares with this one...
Bionicle lore on this guy?
"it's so hideous!"
When I spent two years in Argentina, which is a very small market for Lego, I saw this set and the Batman and Hulk sets from the same wave in a little phone repair shop. I didn’t have a lot of internet access so I couldn’t keep up with Lego news at the time, which led me to assume they were some cheap brand of knockoff unlicensed Chinese action figure I’d never heard of. When I got back to the US and could use the internet again I was very surprised to learn they were genuine Lego. I still am.
Just got this set several weeks ago. Judging by the comments, that may have been an odd thing to say.
Rats. I thought we were gonna finish out April with Clikits. What a joke.
This set is so ugly it makes the Ben 10 sets look like Bionicle.
I had no idea this thing existed. And I wish it was still that way.
I think it is our turn to laugh, not joker’s.
@StarWarzFan7777:
I bought one in original release. The star of the series was Green Lantern, though. He came with a trans-bright-green energy ray and spiked half-ball. I got a bunch of those and worked them into my minifig Green Lantern Corps. I actually affected the price on the spiked ball part. After buying them in onesie-twosie orders, someone posted a large batch at reasonable prices, and I scooped them up right away (just in case). Someone must have noticed all the activity, and that there weren’t any left and listed a large batch, priced at least 10x higher than what I’d been paying. As the only remaining lot for sale, even without anyone buying them, they impacted prices for quite a while when other sellers would list new lots and base their prices on average for-sale prices.
@LuvsLEGO_Cool_J:
This is the first post for May, not the last one for April. The last April RSOTD was actually two days ago, with 7131 Anakin’s Podracer, since Saturday’s post was VSOTW.
These DC & Marvel figures from 2012 are among the most cursed things Lego ever produced alongside Galidor, Znap and Jack Stone.
That’s what happens when My Dad goes out for milk.
I have this one, Batman, and the Green Lantern. I know… I know. But I love them! They’re different and stylized. And look MUCH better in person.
And people dislike the SW buildable figures...
Alright lore time! So...
Wait a minute. This isn't BIONICLE!!!
It's popular to hate on these sets but as an actual child who played with these, these were really cool and still are
"Some people call me the space cowboy...."
Well, he's got some nice trans neon green parts on his "gun".
I actually own all three of these. It’s honestly just as horrifying in real life as in the stock photo here. I mainly just bought him for the parts, he’s got a lot of very useful purple CCBS shells in various colours.

I think it’s a fun toy. It’s like an oversized joker robot that brings terror to the streets and minifig batman has stop it. I think it works well that way

"
oh ok
I meant various *sizes*.
See most of these buildable figures looked kind of reasonable. This one just has so many extraneous bits and random colours added to it that it just becomes a mess. I think they were aiming for Nicholson’s Joker but instead got something closer to Leto’s…
Never got this one, nope...but Hal Jordan (aka Green Lantern ) is on one of my bookcases...really should take my minifig GLs and set them up at his base/feet...maybe w/ the rest of the group looking at minifig Hal, sort of a "really?" moment:)...
I got this one and the Batman one as a present as a kid when they came out. I had to hid The Joker to keep me from having nightmares. It’s still in a box somewhere
I always did like the tails for his coat. Sort of a stealth pun there, considering that piece was used a literal tails for a lot of creatures.
At the time I didn't see a whole lot wrong with him beside the mismatched colors. Oh, and the Marvel/DC Ultrabuilds as a whole have very uninspired parts usage to the point where these are only rough approximations of the characters. The heads are also overly cartoony.
But in this case I now think the hair and facial proportions aren't that great, especially now that the Star Wars figures did it far better.
That said, the pose here isn't the most flattering. The legs in particular look small because you can barely see the lower legs at all! After some google searching I found that they actually use the 2nd-longest CCBS shell for the ankles!
Here you can get a better view of them:

"Winged freak terrorizes. Wait till they get a load of me." (Joker in Batman (1989))
I guess the Joker eventually followed through with his plan…
"I'm going to become the Joker..."

You'd have to be using Smilex to like this particular product!
I'd forgotten these were ever a thing. Hopefully I will again.
Bought the Joker and Batman off bricklink. Green Lantern was in the box when it arrived. When I thanked the seller for including him, he ghosted me.
The head would look great above an entrance to a roller-coaster tunnel in an update of the Joker Mansion 70922.

The two large transparent elements on his gun, the new colored lightning on his chest, and those purple CCBS shells on his shoulders all look like really cool recolors to me

Just bought it a few months ago, new in box, and still happy with it.

Umm... maybe you should get a priest to have a look at that Green Lantern, just in case
That "tie" is just the icing on the cake
