Yesterday's Entrepreneurs Speed Dating session by EIT Food Education was an absolute highlight! It was fantastic to spend the day with such a group of inspiring changemakers, passionate about #sustainability and driven to impact food value chains. 🎓 Thrilled to Announce My Graduation! 🎓    🎉I am incredibly excited to share that I have successfully graduated with a Master's degree in Food Systems, specializing in Sustainable Food Processing and Packaging, from Lund University! 🎉    I defended my thesis titled "Evaluating How Barrier Properties of Different Chilled Packages Affect the Product Quality and Package Shape When Filled with Kefir," which was conducted at Tetra Pak. I am proud to have completed such a significant project because it enables packaging companies to gain deeper insights into how their packaging solutions affect kefir quality. This understanding could facilitate the provision of more tailored guidance to dairy companies, helping them select packaging options that align with factors such as product characteristics, shelf-life requirements, distribution channels, and consumer preferences. Additionally, packaging companies can develop customized solutions to meet the specific needs of their dairy customers, ensuring that the packaging effectively preserves product freshness and meets regulatory requirements. This experience has been deeply enriching and fulfilling, and I am immensely grateful to my university supervisor, Andreas Håkansson, as well as my Tetra Pak supervisors, Katarina Lindgren, Helena Andrén Wijkander, and Hannah Viklund, my examiner, Frida Lewerentz, and my coordinators, Cecilia Nilsson and Claudia E. Lazarte, for their constant support and encouragement throughout this journey. Over the past two years, I have encountered numerous challenges, experienced significant personal and academic growth, and created unforgettable memories. Relocating and settling in various countries each semester, including Sweden, Denmark, Italy, and Poland, has taught me to embrace change and provided exceptional exposure to diverse academic settings and cultures. Participating in the EIT Food Master of Food Systems programme has given me the opportunity to learn from a distinguished group of professors and industry experts, each offering unique perspectives and expertise. I have also experienced different educational systems and research methodologies, thereby broadening my academic and professional horizons. I am excited to integrate my experience in the food industry with the invaluable knowledge and skills I gained during my master's degree, applying them to new opportunities that promote sustainability and contribute to a greener future.
