This week our teams from across Australia and New Zealand descended on Perth for the biennial Indian Ocean Defence & Security (IODS) Conference. The theme for the 2024 event was #WhereAUKUSMeetsTheQuad - strategically significant for the future of Western Australia and Australia more broadly, and for Nova Systems’ current and future engagement with Defence. It’s not just about nuclear-powered submarines, it’s about everything else around that, as more than one speaker has articulated. It is great to see so many Novans coming together to learn, connect and engage with Defence industry, government and our uniformed peers as we tackle the challenges ahead - nuclear power, infrastructure, workforce, supply chain and pretty much everything else for which Nova is very much part of the conversation.
