At ISPT, we are passionate about expanding our understanding and honouring First Nations history and culture. This NAIDOC Week, we had the privilege of hosting the renowned First Nations singer-songwriter Kutcha Edwards, accompanied by Jay Jerome. Through captivating storytelling and song, Kutcha shared his profound cultural experiences with our team. Our tenant partners across the country also engaged in cultural activities including smoking ceremonies, live art demonstrations, traditional weaving, dance and more. These NAIDOC Week initiatives are integral to our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan and underscore our commitment to celebrating the richness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, as well as taking positive steps towards a more reconciled Australia. Thank you, Kutcha Edwards, for sharing your story with us and for deepening our understanding of culture, respect and history.
