Bosch Australia Manufacturing Solutions (BAMS) has teamed up with RayGen to provide automated solutions that enhance the assembly process of innovative concentrated solar technology. We are proud to announce the launch of MOTUM World™, our first software release that is set to revolutionise driver training. The platform's current focus is Australian driving conditions and road rules, and it is completely adaptable in terms of environments, scenarios, and assets. Currently developed versions encompass learner drivers, emergency services, port services, mining industries, and beyond. To suit any driver training application, bespoke environments can be created and tailored for virtually any road surface or terrain, such as CBDs, suburban roads, freeways, and country driving, plus dedicated spaces. Further to this, different scenarios can be incorporated into the program to align with physical training and real-world events. For trainers, a range of metrics can be recorded, including speed, throttle control, steering precision, braking technique, proximity to other vehicles and road rule infringements. Instructors can tailor training scenarios, including testing driver responsiveness, awareness, and defensive skills under a host of varying conditions. The program was launched last week at Bosch Australia & New Zealand head office in Melbourne, with a wide cross-section of industries on hand for the unveiling. We would like to thank Gavin Smith, Chair and President Bosch Oceania, for his kind words and the assistance of his entire team in hosting our event.
