Enjoyable stay and very late check out to match evening flight

We were given a very late check out as we had an evening flight which was very welcome. Breakfasts were tasty and good value. Rooms clean and well serviced. Best of all were the friendly and helpful staff all of which made for a very enjoyable stay.

Bad experience and not well trained staff

The reception charged me for deposit for double of the real price and also poor skill communication.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, with a subway station and convenience store nearby. The front desk also provided good service and was very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. You can also see the shanghai train station. The hotel breakfast was very rich, with a wide variety of buffets and fresh fruits.

I chose to stay at Pullman Jing'an because I need to travel to China with my family. China has implemented a visa-free policy, which makes our travel very convenient. I am a member of ALL, so I choose this hotel. I can honestly say that the location of this hotel is very good, it is right next to the high-speed rail station. The subway is also very close. The doormen of this hotel were very helpful and helped us a lot, because we were not very familiar with the Chinese APP, so we needed them to call a taxi for us. The front desk staff are very friendly, they are enthusiastic and speak English very well. No matter when you find them, they will be more than happy to help you. This made our trip so much easier. The room is too small. Maybe because this is Shanghai, the facilities in the room are also very old. I think it should be renovated. The food in the restaurant is good, but the service staff doesn't speak English at all. We gave feedback to the manager when we checked out. He thanked us very much and promised a free room upgrade, so I'll give him 5 stars. Because he is sincere enough.Overall this hotel has excellent service at the front desk, but it clearly doesn't match the poor facilities. If its facilities would be updated, we would come again without hesitation.

The hotel is not at the best location but metro Line 1 exit 5 is just next to the hotel. This is definitely the usual Pullman. The interior is very outdated, needs renovations. Breakfast has lots of variety on local food. i'm an Accor platinum so has access to 27 floor, Lounge club. The service staff, Bella Liu is very helpful and service very well. Overall, its a decent hotel and i will come if it has done necessary renovation.
