About Molecular Endocrinology

NOTE: In January 2017, the Endocrine Society journals moved to a new publishing platform in partnership with Oxford University Press, a process that included moving all journals’ archive issues. If assistance with locating specific archival content is needed, please contact publications@endocrine.org.

Molecular Endocrinology, published from January 1987 through October 2016, was devoted to the rapid publication of manuscripts that used molecular approaches to study the mechanisms of action of hormones and related molecules as they pertained to human disease. The journal welcomed submissions from a variety of disciplines that used state-of-the-art experimental approaches ranging from biochemical and cellular to genomic and organismal in order to provide novel mechanistic insights into physiological and pathophysiological processes relevant to endocrine systems and to endocrine-related disease.

Molecular Endocrinology merged with the journal Endocrinology in November 2016.

Note to Authors published in Molecular Endocrinology up to October 2016
