Wimbledon is "hopeful" that PRINCESS KATE MIDDLETON will be able to "present trophies to the men’s and women’s singles champions" after making a return to public life by attending the Trooping of the Colour earlier this month. All England Club Chair DEBBIE JEVANS said that they “will give her ‘as much flexibility as possible’” as she continues her treatment for cancer, which could involve “delaying a decision on who will present the trophies until the morning of the finals next month.” Middleton has been patron of the All England Club since 2016, and as well as “making regular appearances with members of her family in the Royal Box has traditionally presented the trophies, moments of global significant that are hugely valued by Wimbledon.” While her recovery "remains ongoing," sources have indicated that she would “like to attend Wimbledon if possible” (London TELEGRAPH, 6/27).

NAMES: Collin County, Texas judge ANGELA TUCKER in district court yesterday dismissed a sexual assault lawsuit against Cowboys QB DAK PRESCOTT. Tucker scheduled a hearing for Sept. 13 to “determine if sanctions should be levied” against a Fort Worth woman who claimed Prescott sexually assaulted her in a Dallas strip club parking lot in 2017. In February, attorneys representing the woman "sent an email to Prescott" requesting $100M in exchange for “not disclosing or pursuing criminal charges” related to a sexual assault according to a court filing. Prescott responded March 11 by "filing and announcing" a $100M defamation lawsuit in Collin County against the woman. Prescott is additionally “pursuing criminal extortion charges in Prosper,” where he lives (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 6/26)....SEAN STELLATO, agent of N.Y. Giants QB TOMMY DEVITO, had the distinguished honor of meeting POPE FRANCIS in Vatican City where he “handed off a custom football as a gift” (N.Y. POST, 6/26).
