Tide's new Paris Olympics ad features Noah Lyles, Carl Lewis

P&G brand Tide has released its ad for the upcoming Paris Games, and the 30-second spot -- via Saatchi & Saatchi’s PG One team -- features sprinter Noah Lyles, who won the 100m Sunday at the U.S. Olympic trials and nine-time gold medalist Carl Lewis. The ad, titled “Stains Happen to the Best of Us,” shows how life on and off the track can get messy and stains can happen to all of us, even Olympic athletes.

The spot will air beginning today across linear and broadcast channels, streaming services and social media. P&G, an IOC TOP sponsor, has a roster of more than 100 athletes from 17 countries in 37 sports and has used more than 30 of its brands in the lead up and during the Games. Heading into Paris, Lyles is among the athletes to be featured in the documentary, “Sprint,” on Netflix, in cooperation with the IOC, beginning on July 2. He is also sponsored by Visa, Celsius and Adidas.
