The Las Vegas Aces have become first team in WNBA history to “sell out each of their 20 regular-season home games,” according to a front-page piece by Danny Webster of the LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL. The Aces previously became the “first team in league history to sell out its season-ticket memberships” in March. They are playing 18 games at Michelob Ultra Arena this season and two at T-Mobile Arena -- which feature games against the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky. Webster noted the Aces are attempting to become the first team to win three straight championships since the Houston Comets, who won the first four titles in league history from 1997-2000. The Aces led the WNBA in attendance in 2023, averaging 9,551 fans per game (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 6/20). The AP’s Mark Anderson noted the Aces “set a team attendance record for Michelob Ultra Arena” when 10,424 fans attended last Saturday’s WNBA Finals rematch with the N.Y. Liberty. The Aces also “set a franchise home record” when 17,406 watched Las Vegas beat the Phoenix Mercury last season at T-Mobile Arena (AP, 6/20).
