Welcome to the John A. Paulson Center

The John A. Paulson Center at New York University officially opened on January 23, 2023. Located at 181 Mercer Street, this vitally-needed, distinctive, LEED Gold-certified complex serves the widest range of uses of any NYU building.

Divided into "neighborhoods," the athletic and recreational facilities are found below-grade.  The lower floors provide nearly five dozen new classrooms, state-of-the-art facilities for dramatic and musical arts education, common areas for community gatherings, two eateries, and dedicated space for the local community. The upper floors contain student and faculty housing. The Paulson Center also includes a revitalized Greene Street Walk with a beautiful new playground for young children.  Learn more »
