It will be another day of mixed seasons, with sunny spells and scattered showers expected, Met Éireann is predicting.

Some slow-moving, heavy and possibly thundery downpours will develop in the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees.

Showers will gradually die out early on in the night, leaving a mostly dry night with clear spells and a few mist patches, with lowest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees at night.

However, there is good news for the start of the week as tomorrow will start out mainly dry with sunny spells, however scattered showers will break out as the day goes on.

It will be much warmer, with temperatures soaring up to 20 degrees.

Mainly dry in the north and west at first on Monday night with clear spells, however it will become cloudier with rain and drizzle gradually spreading further north overnight. Temperatures dropping at night to 9 to 14 degrees.

Mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle in the east on Tuesday as temperatures stay nice and high once again at 20 degrees.

Rain will push northwards on Tuesday night with outbreaks of rain in the east and north, and clear spells elsewhere.

Lowest temperatures on Tuesday night of 11 to 13 degrees.

A mostly cloudy and damp day in the east and north on Wednesday, with brighter, sunnier intervals elsewhere. Highs of 15 to 20 degrees.

Mostly cloudy in northern and eastern parts with rain or showers moving south throughout the day.

Not as warm on Wednesday as other days, with temperatures of 14 to 19 degrees.

“High pressure is currently indicated to become more dominant, at least for a time, with drier and sunnier conditions gradually extending from the west through Friday and the weekend, with temperatures near average for the time of year,” Met ÉÍreann said,
