Zelensky to call for UN Security Council emergency talks after Russian strike hits hospital

Following a major Russian missile attack across Ukraine that killed at least 31 people and injured 154, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky plans to call for an emergency meeting with the UN. The daytime barrage targeted five Ukrainian cities with more than 40 missiles of different types hitting apartment buildings and public infrastructure, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on social media. Ukraine's air force said it intercepted 30 missiles.Russia denied targeting civilian infrastructure, insisting the strikes had been aimed at military facilities.
