Despite having been “on stage” since she was five, it took Carolyn Bracken to her early 30s to work up the courage to go after acting as a career.

The star of the new six-part thriller The Gone, which follows the story of two missing Irish twenty-somethings in New Zealand, started going to speech and drama classes when she was four, shortly afterwards joining The Nenagh Players in her hometown.
