When Ennis-Kilrush played their first-ever adult women’s rugby match two years ago, they took to the pitch with only 13 players.
By the end of their debut season in Division 2, which they marked in incredible fashion by winning the league and cup double, Ennis-Kilrush had roughly 20 players in their squad.
