As they made their way from the bus to the dressing room, the Irish players were predictably serenaded to the ‘Rassie’ chorus of The Cranberries’ Zombie by the locals.
More striking, however, was the sound of a local dad excitedly pointing out the best players in Andy Farrell’s squad to his two boys in Afrikaans as they strolled by determinedly.
