Matthew Carley will referee the Champions Cup final between Leinster and Toulouse

England’s Matthew Carley will referee the Champions Cup final between Leinster and Toulouse at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday May 25.

Carley will be refereeing his first Champions Cup final when he takes charge of the heavyweight clash between Leo Cullen’s men and their French rivals.

Carley’s assistants will be Karl Dickson of England and Italy’s Andrea Piardi with Ian Tempest, also of England, as TMO and Stefano Marrama (Itay) as the match citing commissioner.

Frenchman Mathieu Raynal has been appointed for the Challenge Cup decider between Gloucester Rugby and the Sharks at the state-of-the-art London venue the previous evening, May 24.

Raynal will have Ireland’s Andrew Brace and Pierre Brousset of France running the line with Eric Gauzins (France) as TMO and another Irishman Ed Kenny as citing commissioner.
