If anything shows the “pack” mentality the Irish women’s hockey team will take into their game with Spain today – the winners of which will qualify for the Paris Olympics – it’s the number of goals they’ve conceded in the Olympic qualifying tournament in Valencia.

The goal Cho Hyejin scored for South Korea in Ireland’s 3-1 win on Tuesday was the first goal the girls in green have let in following their 0-0 draw with last year’s European finalists Belgium on Saturday and their 8-0 win over Ukraine on Monday.
