The answer is a no-brainer for Chris O’Donnell. Ask the Sligo athlete if he would prefer to be a finalist in the individual 400m or a medallist in the mixed relay, and he doesn’t need to sleep on it.

His preference – all day long – would be to win a medal with the mixed relay.
