Jarlath Burns’ comments on men’s game are food for thought

Today the majority of sports podcasts use the same standard format that sees hosts putting forward questions to their guests enabling them to maintain control of the conversation and direct the guests towards a particular topic.

Last week, GAA president Jarlath Burns was a guest on the new GAAGO Ratified discussion forum with hosts Michael Murphy, Paddy Andrews, Marc Ó Sé and Aaron Kernan. For lengthy periods, the lads unwittingly found themselves being interviewed by the refreshing Burns as he used it as an opportunity to elicit ideas and opinions from the former inter-county players who he knows hold a lot of weight in GAA circles.
