That's all we have time for this afternoon! It was a pleasure to bring the first of today's All-Ireland Quarter-finals to you, and be sure to tune in to the second Independent.ie live-blog of the day as Dublin take on Galway at 6.15pm.

Armagh outscored Roscommon by 1-9 to 0-7 in that second-half which is pretty telling. While Davy Burke's charges rallied and substitutions made an impact, the Orchard County prevailed all over the pitch. The introduction of Stefan Campbell was pivotal in their successes as he tagged on 0-3 and contributed to the build up in other scores. Oisin Conaty came alive after the break too, notching up 0-4 of his own.

With 1-2 from play, Armagh's Barry McCambridge has picked up the Man of the Match award. The half-back was superb at either end of the pitch and was given the vote of confidence from Kieran Donaghy to attack today in his words.

Armagh are back in the semi-finals of the All-Ireland Football Championship!

There can be no disputes with the scoreline. Armagh kicked on brilliantly after the interval, and while Roscommon emerged much improved too, ultimately Conor Turbitt's goal set up a comfortable lead for the Orchard County. The 19-year wait to reach the final four is over.

Its been an inspiring performance from Oisin Conaty who is on the end of Aaron McCabe's pass and guides over another fine score.

There will be 3 minutes of additional time as Conor Cox takes his mark but slices his effort horribly wide.

Armagh are almost there! Aaron Grimley shifts the ball to Oisin Conaty who collects his third point of the afternoon.

Oisin Conaty and Aidan Forker combine to shift the ball up to Stefan Campbell who wins the free. Conor Turbitt drills it over in front of the sticks.

That's a fine point and unbelievably Diarmuid Murtagh's first of the game as he trails behind Conor Cox, receives the handpass, and clips over from 35 metres.

The St.Bridgid's clubman has been immense for the Rossies today and fought bitterly hard for that score under pressure from several Armagh defenders.

The experienced combination of Stefan Campbell combines with his captain Aidan Forker to raise the umpire's white flag.

Diarmuid Murtagh's effort clips the posts and there is a scramble for the breaking ball. Aaron McKay scoops up the ball before Conor Cox can turn for goal.

Collecting the loose ball, Adam McDermott cuts infield and fires over from 25 metres directly in front of the posts to cut Armagh's lead to 5 points.

Conor Turbitt fails to split the posts shooting into the Hill 16 End and amasses Armagh's seventh wide of the game.

Davy Burke has refreshed his full-forward line with Adam McDermott replacing Donie Smith.

The move comes as part of a double swap with Aidan Forker replaced by Ross McQuillan.

GOAL FOR ARMAGH!

Roscommon go short with the kickout and Armagh press up aggresively. The ball is dislodged and fed to Conor Turbitt who remains cool to pick out the top left corner.
