Aidan O’Brien added another Group One success to his glittering CV as City of Troy battled hard to win the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown on Saturday.
The Epsom Derby winner was the red-hot favourite to take the spoils, but the testing ground was a concern and the 1/4 shot had to dig deep under Ryan Moore to beat Al Riffa (11/1) by a length.
