Excitement is building at Sligo Airport, Strandhill as it prepares to host the spectacular Sligo Air Show on Sunday 28th July. Some of the most talented Irish, international pilots and aerobatic formation teams will perform during this summer’s not-to-be-missed family event. And in a first of its kind in Ireland, a spectacular airborne fireworks display by the Firebirds will take place on Saturday night (27th July).

The Air Show will feature a dramatic display by one of the finest aerobatic display teams - the Royal Jordanian Falcons - flying Extra-330 LX aerobatic aircraft. Coming all the way from the Kingdom of Jordan the four-piece national aerobatic team, which was formed in 1976, will showcase the sophisticated state of aviation in Jordan. Another thrilling performance to look forward to will be by Team Raven flying RV8 aircraft, painting shapes across the Sligo skies.
