Mechanic jailed for ‘savage’ and ‘vicious’ attack on mother of 16 in midlands housing estate
Patrick Sherlock (37) was jailed for two years over a "vicious" and "savage" assault on his sister-in-law in Athlone last year.
A father of four who left his sister-in-law unconscious and with two broken jaws in a “savage” and “vicious” street assault has been sentenced to two years in prison.
Patrick Sherlock (37), 24 St Paul’s Terrace, Athlone, Co Westmeath was handed down the sentence at a sitting of Mullingar Circuit Criminal Court yesterday (Friday) arising out of an incident at Iona Park, Athlone during the early hours of April 7, 2023.
