The family of Ballyduff man Anthony O’Carroll have travelled to be at his bedside in a hospital near Manchester where he is receiving treatment after he was injured on Monday evening while taking part in the 2024 Southern 100 Road Races on the Isle of Man.
Anthony was one of three motorbike riders who were injured during the Newcomers familiarisation laps on Monday. The full extent of Anthony’s injuries are not yet known but as well as suspected head trauma, there are other injuries and breakages also.
