Pedestrian injured after being hit by car in Donegal

A pedestrian was treated for non life threatening injuries after being hit by a car in Donegal.

A collision involving a pedestrian and a motorist occurred at Main Street, Letterkenny in the early hours of Sunday, July 7.

The collision occurred at approximately 1.30am.

All parties involved were spoken to by Gardaí at the scene.

The pedestrian involved received medical attention for non-life threatening injuries.

A spokesperson for gardaí said, “We appeal to anybody who may have witnessed the collision or who may have captured the incident on dash-cam footage to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.”
