What is the best diet for fat loss? Will I have to starve myself? And what exercise should I do to compliment my nutrition?

For a map for these issues, this week I spoke to author of the best-selling ‘Eat Your Way to a Six Pack: The Ultimate 75 Day Transformation Plan,’ Scott Harrison, on his nutrition and exercise plan.

Scott started by telling me about his Six Pack Revolution program; “It teaches each person how to change their relationship with food, with drink, and with themselves,” he said.

Most diets focus on creating a calorie deficit whereas Scott informed me his plan seeks to detoxify the body and enhance the metabolism.

“Most people, when you go into some form of dietary program, it's all about the calories and calorie deficit” he stated.

However, the celebrity PT’s plan is a little bit different; “it works by creating a body that's more powerful, resilient, strong works at its optimum because when it works at its optimum. It then burns fuel more efficiently, which is fat, and then it builds and maintains muscle mass more efficiently,” he said.

When I asked the author about the exercise component of his plan he said, “I always say to everybody, nutrition is probably 90% of your fat loss visual results, the improvement in your strength, core and cardiovascular system comes from exercise. So, every time you go for a brisk walk or HIIT workout, you have made a contribution to your pension pot for yourself.”
