John Daly: With Paris off the table due to flight disruption, I opt instead for walk into the soul of ancient Ireland

With our plans for a July weekend in Paris in the dustbin due to the Aer Lingus chaos, we’re instead opting for a trip to a much higher plane in Dingle.

Rather than sip Bordeaux at a Montmartre sidewalk cafe, we’re rerouting the dial to Ventry, in the heart of the Gaeltacht, for a jaunt along the Saint’s Road. Partly an homage to the homeland of Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh, as well as a trek into the soul of ancient Ireland.
