I feel for the English football team. No one loves them. Their very own fans boo and jeer them off the pitch, even when they win. And then when England games are screened on TV, everyone here cheers for their opponents.

I know there’s a little bit of horrible history, about 700 years or so, but I doubt very much if those English Paras who shot all around them at a peaceful demonstration on Bloody Sunday will be present in your local this evening.
