Creatine is a popular supplement among athletes. However, it’s now being used by many for its potential benefits for cognitive function and memory. There is an enormous amount of evidence supporting the use of creatine, so let me run you through the basics.

Creatine is natural. We make it in our bodies every day. It is an energy source that is made from the building blocks of protein called amino acids. We also eat it, as it’s found in lots of our favourite foods including red meat and fish. After we make it or eat it, we store it in our muscles and use it to move our bodies.
