Industrial action by Aer Lingus pilots could have knock-on effects on holidaymakers during peak travel season, but what are passengers entitled to if their flights are cancelled or delayed?

Pilots at Aer Lingus have voted overwhelmingly in favour of strike action. The pilots are to begin an indefinite work-to-rule from next Wednesday after balloting for industrial action, which means they will not engage in overtime or out-of-hours duties.
