Should posters be banned from election campaigns? Candidates give their views on offsetting carbon footprint

The world of politics has yet to turn green, with the majority of candidates are still using posters. However, the landscape is shifting, with nearly a third of candidates calling for them to be banned.

Despite this, some election hopefuls were thinking sustainably by limiting leaflets, planting trees to offset carbon or running a “zero poster” campaign, as well as taking public transport or carpooling.
