She was Fine Gael’s second biggest vote-getter in the country in the local elections. Now ­Marie Baker wants to be a candidate in the general election — and is taking aim at the party colleague in her way.

“It all feels very uncomfortable for genteel Dún Laoghaire. The members are fairly agog. There can be no doubt who she is talking about,” a local party source said.
