Israel’s ambassador to Ireland Dana Erlich said she was quizzed by Hollywood actor Michael Douglas about Ireland’s stance on Israel. Ms Erlich met the 79-year-old Wall Street star at the site of the Nova music festival, where they went to “bear witness” to where the October 7 attack by Hamas occurred.

During their meeting, Douglas, whose late father Kirk Douglas was Jewish, questioned the ambassador about Ireland’s views on Israel and its stance on the war on Gaza.
