Government to unveil Summer Economic Statement ahead of suspected ‘giveaway’ Budget 2025

The government’s Summer Economic Statement is set to be unveiled today by newly-appointed Finance Minister Jack Chambers and Minister for Public Expenditure Pascal Donohoe.
The statement was discussed by coalition leaders on Monday night and will be formally presented after it is approved when cabinet meets today.
